Saskatchewan Youth Apprenticeship and Trades Presentation

There will be an hour long presentation about careers in trades and apprenticeship.
Information about what the Saskatchewan Youth Apprenticeship program is be available.
- level one tuition paid, 300 hour trade hours earned, and indenture fee covered

Saskatchewan Youth Apprenticeship Program

- A program set up for high school students to gain apprenticeship hours and learn more about careers and opportunities with trades in Saskatchewan. In addition to completing this program, students will also have an opportunity

How do I get my official transcript?
Video - start at 5:00 minute mark
- MSS - email address that isn't school division/talk to Shawn or Jeff and then will put it in the system
- Online Request Form - SK Government Page - Transcript (info you need, personal info, address, SK Drivers License, selife
- Mycreds - will send a new email to them, ask them to register their account through the email link
- Buy, Share, Track - Credits ($15.00 for 1 share credit)
- Buy one for yourself, and buy one for each post-secondary school or scholarship organization.

Terminology:

Loans - Money provided by the Government of Saskatchewan and Canada to assist students who quality for need. This money DOES need to be paid back.

Grants - Money provided by the Government of Saskatchewan and Canada that DOES NOT need to be paid back for students in need.

Saskatchewan Advantage - The Saskatchewan Advantage Scholarship will provide $750 per year, to a lifetime maximum of $3,000, to eligible Saskatchewan grade 12 graduates attending a Saskatchewan post-secondary institution.
